Tsunami Report Today, is that for real?

As of 5:30am Mountain Standard Time, on the Google.com page, in red it reads:

Tsunami Alert for New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Hawaii, and others. Waves expected over the next few hours, caused by 8.9 earthquake in Japan.

Didn't see anything on the news yet so?

Just saw the news. I hope the damage is not too great. I don't have a good feeling about it though.

My sister lives in Hawaii and she said all is well there. She said they were given the evac notice early this morning, but then they canceled it. Also said that so far there hasn't been anything noticeable going in that regards (high waters, etc).
