I don't plan on getting a wider tire even if I did get new. 245 will fit just fine on an 8in rim, which is as wide as I would go. Either way I prefer a 17" rim.

I didn't mean for you to get a wider tire, the whole "profile" thing is a pet peeve of mine. The correct way to state it would have been something like, "I don't want 18's because of the loss of extra sidewall" or something like that

Look at some Ray's Engineering Volk wheels. The Challenge SF is pretty close to cobra rims, except lighter and more options as far as finish/color.
