I think the Saleen replicas are about the same weight as stock chromies. Been thinkin about a set for my vr4, but think I'm just gonna end up painting my current ones bronze anyway, plus my rims are only 23lb each instead of the stock 28lb or whatever

I didnt think about weighing the new rims before I put them on the car. I did just weigh the stockers, 16x8 225/55/16 weighted 45.8 lbs. I know the new ones are lighter than that.

Sorry to stray from the topic here guys, but I have a chance to maybe pick up some nice ones for a damn good price... BUT, they're 10x19 rear, and 8.5x19 front. Would a set of 245/4R19's and 285/35R19's be close enough to not destroy the VCU's? I think the difference is about 3.5mm, or roughly 4 more revs on one set per mile.

Even if they do weigh a little more, just take a poop before you race

    Niiiiiiiiiiice car!
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
