    yes im a knuckle head

well i just purchased the 1996 vr4 single turbo conversion with the 99 front bumper. it was for sale in the classfied section. so if u guys wanna check it out its there.. well i decided to change the oil and i probably should turn a light on in my garage because i drained the transfer case instead of the motor. well i need to know how to put the gear oil back in the transfer case..any help would be greatly appreciated..and yes i did a search and didnt find anything.. but this car is one mean machine. but i hate the clutch i might have one huge left leg and one chicken right leg by the end of summer. so another question would be which clutch do u guys reccomend for me im running 18lbs with 450whp now, hoping to pull some more power with meth injection so i really want a clutch to handle some decent power and also be daily driven

I have a used ACT pressure plate I can sell you. All you'll need then is an OEM clutch disc from Cherry Hill Triplex for $78 and you're set to go for 450-500hp all day long. Grab a new TOB while you're at it too for $25. Do you know what clutch it has now? The ACT pressure plate only slightly increases stock pedal pressure, so it'd be just like having stock PP in there, but with the extra clamping force for the extra power. Oh, and for refilling the tcase, there is a fill level bolt near the top of the tcase that you simply remove, and fill with your choice of gear oil. (I prefer Redline MT85) and luckily on a 2g, you don't have to measure the tcase fluid exactly, just fill it till it dribbles out, and replace the fill bolt. Make sure the car is level when you fill it tho. Hope this helps

thanks guys for the help.. im really not sure what clutch is in it but i know it was put in to handle the 850whp cause thats what the car had before a smaller turbo was put on. and having the car level will be a problem considering i dont have jack stands,, but maybe its time to invest in some.

What Ryan said...lots of bandaids and alcohol, and a few wrenches to throw at the car for good measure. Don't want that bitch getting outta hand
