My most recent purchase was a Kahr P380 to replace my P3AT for concealed carry. Thinking that maybe I should have gotten the PM9 instead. I've also decided on a Springfield 1911 .45 ACP as my next gun.

Yeah, I don't care what people say, I love a 9mm. It's able to do the 90% of the jobs done by most every handgun. .40 & .45's are cool, and I do like them, but serve as overkill for a LOT of people that own them.

Yep, I agree. I love my .380 for CC. I know people say it's too small but I don't think I would ever have a problem at the range you'd be justified in using it at. I'm really torn about moving up to a 9mm though. I don't think there is any need for a bigger caliber for CC. I do want to get a 1911 .45 simply for fun shooting though as my .380 is NO fun to shoot at all.

There really shouldn't be any way for the gun to accidentally go off. It has a trigger safety, as well as a palm safety that will not allow the trigger to be pulled if not depressed. You'd really have to be trying to fire it for it to "accidentally" go off.
