and! 9mms are awesome because if you don't kill the "thing" it usually leaves the bullet in them.. instead of shooting all the way through.. pending where you hit them of course.. I had a cheap S&W Sigma and it shot alright.. a lot like a glock.. I want to get me a Taurus 1911 though..

Not a huge gun person so no idea about the brands you guys posted but to me they are all quite ugly. Short and stubby [I know sometimes that's useful]. But to me a gun should look like the Beretta 92FS. That's a badass looking handgun.

I agree. I have a SIG P220 .45 to carry and a SP2022 9mm for target practice but sometimes I carry it because its smaller (loaded with Winchester bonded 124gr. +p). The .45 gets 4 hydroshocks and 4 Speer Gold Dot 230gr +P if the hydroshocks dont do the trick.

There really shouldn't be any way for the gun to accidentally go off. It has a trigger safety, as well as a palm safety that will not allow the trigger to be pulled if not depressed. You'd really have to be trying to fire it for it to "accidentally" go off.

i worry sometime about my xd and the fact my shoulder holster presses on the palm safety. but the bolsters of the holster are ridgid enough you cant accidently pull the trigger as well

I had a Ruger go off on me once. I tried to fire it and it didn’t go off. I started to tilt it back slowly to see if the slide was jammed and BAM! It just went off without me pulling the trigger.

that sounds like a retarded primer not the gun its self i'd be pretty damn sure the firing pin and hammer did exactly what they are ment to do but the primer must have been bad. rule one of shooting....if it fails to fire hold the gun down range for 30 secs then attempt to clear the chamber.
