I can't do join dates with over 1000 members that too big a task.

I have added a field to the profile for "owner Since" I will be adding that to the information displayed under your name.
Good work. Thanks for the addition.

Hmmm interesting the level of caring over a join date. I could care less. I'm young, I've owned 11 cars and if you dont want to respect me I wont lose sleep over it.

I saw at least one forum where only posts in tech sections were counted. I think that could be a little helpful. As far as the join date, I would like to see the old ones, but that's only because I often used it as a quick "stupidity filter" on 3SI. I'm not by any means saying all newer members are like this, but a lot of people like to spout useless and wrong information as gospel and, in general, older members were less likely to do that (actually, if they did they would probably be banned or on GI). This particular problem is not helped by the fact that you can buy one of these cars for $800 and absolutely anyone can use the internet now. In tech sections, it would be nice to have an option to "thumbs down" a post and if the post gets enough of them it could be deleted. It would be fantastic to have a forum with a minimal amount of blatantly incorrect information or advice.

Owner since is a cool idea. Mabye it should be mechanic since....
