Stock new OEM coils are the way to go.
That aside, you should be fine with new(er) MSD coils. They will at least be better than 130K mile old coils.
You do NOT need tach adapters. I have installed the MSD many times. No need for them.
As for wiring, it's straight forward. There are many wires on the unit. Each color wire is paired with a solid wire and a solid with brown stripe. Each coil on your car has 2 wires. One wire on each coil is common to all 3 coils. Connect the MSD Brown with Orange to this common wire. The remaining 1 wire per coil gets cut. ECU end goes to a solid MSD wire, the coil end goes to the corresponding soild with brown stripe. Repeat for the rest of the coils. Feed the TACHO wire on the PTU with the tach output of the MSD. Power and Ground. Done.

Not to threadjack too much, but when getting coils from Cherry Hill, do I need to get 3 or does it come as a whole assembly?
The ECU cuts the RPM's. The DIS-4 can't override the ECU.

Well then I stand corrected. I was originally misinformed in a thread a long time back.
what do I do with the two "Dual Ignition Adapters" then?
Unfortunately, many are told they need them and buy them. Unfortunately again...they (tach adapters) fail rather quickly and many times are DOA.
I have installed and run the MSD DIS in many cars without them without issue.

this is what I have, and he's sending me another harness he forgot to ship with it also.
