Internal or External wastegate for TD05's

Right now I have internally gated TD05 big 16G's. If I were to switch my setup to externally gated what differences would I notice if that is the only change? I know I would need to change manifold setups, but that would be no problem if it is better in the long run.

Internal wastegates are perfectly fine up to 30 psi from what I understand. Once you go past 30 psi then they will have trouble holding. I believe those turbos max out at out around 30 psi anyways so I wouldn't really worry about changing anything.
