Well my Neo should arive next week so the I can put my injectors and pump in and play with the stock turbos for a bit while i decide on what i want. Was bidding on a wrx turbo that ended up going for over $400 haha. I'm leaning towards 19ts of ebay from kinguawa or something my mate with an evo bought some stuff from the same place and it's good quality for the price.

Hey I'm building an 8 second car.
It probably won't run 8s but it's still an 8 second car, on paper anyway.

Well if you haven't even run a 12, nor an 11 , how are you going to do a 10?

As for the scoop, it's street legal, without the scoop it wouldn't be as the intake manifold would be sticking out the top, which BTW is the only way an intake manifold is going to be efficient on a GTO as the stock ones are total crap, right angled bends in runners don't do anything for performance.

i think you would have been better served by sticking to the stock air-box & modifying the hood with an NACA duct behind the right side headlight; and sealing it to the intake channel.

I run a bone stock lower and upper plenum and throttle body. My car does just fine.

    Steve, you old bitter man,

I dont know where you get this crap, it simply amazes me. Even the CAI, so you "cool" the air before the turbo's heat it up baffles me. You somehow derail and destroy each and every thread you comment in. When somebody has a check light, a light lifter tick, a busted taillight you start talking about your damn ringlands.
Guess what, nobody gives a flying fuck.

    Follow these instructions:
    1. Turn off computer
    2. Unplug internetz from you home router
    3. Work on your car a bit
    4. Get two steel/iron nails about 4 inches long and stick em in a power outlet.

I dont have a US spec car, but i dont seem to have any trouble modifying it? You think US spec cars are easier to work on? I dont know what you are trying to imply here? Everybodies car's different, if you can use a fucking tape measure, a screwdriver and are persistent enough you can work on cars.

So Ray P, Chris H, and Matt M are idiots then for running a stock intake mani? Almost 90% of intake manifolds I've seen on cars are designed just like ours, and I'd think the factory would know better than you what works and what doesn't. Otherwise we'd all have tinfoil spray painted intake manifolds that leak worse than a bucket with a hole in the bottom. Bet your Maf likes all the intake leaks you're getting from the tin foil mani. Good luck tuning that out. Sometimes I wonder how you can even believe half the shit that comes out of your mouth or "fingers" more precisely.
