Next one will be widebody fenders and decision time between Genes SMIC's or keep the FMIC. Hope to be done with all the bodywork and rewire by the end of April. Start building the cage in the first week in May.

I used the tape as an alignmet guide for the whole front end. Everything is centered off of the hood because its so bulky. If you look at the pic, everything is in alignment off the tape lines. I also used them to draw on to reference points for bends and to tag angles for the crash bar.

yeah, i see that. i just know that the vents are about 1/2" off center. other than that, i love my hood. it looks AMAZING with 99 lights. it's hard to explain.

took my girl out today for the first time since halloween. lots of sand on the roads still but the wet is almost gone(its break-up season in ak). only have my one mod done so far but she's only been legal for 36 hours. got my killer glass installed with blue coolant(looks like toilette water, lol).

still to do this summer: instal custom splitter intake, new oem bumper, fenders, and stealth es sideskirts/caps all painted satin black, front and rear crash bars, 70mm throttle body, oem mudflaps, jvc touchscreen deck, tein lowering springs and i still need to decide and buy new rims and tires. i hate using the spacers and having my rim stick out an inch past the fenders and it will look shitty like that lowered.

Today was fun... Almost drained the gas tank when I disconnected it and had to band-aid it so I could finsh with the wiring relocate and trim.

So after playing in spagetti for another 6 hours or so the major engine wiring and big deletes are pretty much resolved. I need to clean things up but it's pretty much reduced to what I want it to be for now.

I also took another 200lbs out of it between yesterday and today. I think I'm going to cut the bottom radiator support out and build shrouded shoulder brackets for the radiator on both sides to clean up the look of the front end because its so huge!

Going to do something like this and weld a side bracket to the main frame supports on the drivers side and passenger side. I'm going to cut everything outlined in green out and support the radiator from the sides. On the drivers side I'll do the same thing into a split collector and run custom piping to cool the brake reservior and turbo manifolds. The tumbling air will get siphoned out of the hood when I add a couple of raised pieces to it.

That's it for major stuff till I get another free weekend in 2 weeks to install the trans and the widebody fenders.

Messed with the wiring for the DLI a little bit, I hate how I have it secured, but can't think of a better way to do it.

J.Fast, where do you have yours? Also, any particular reason you still have that clutch assist tank? I bet it weighs a few pounds.
