Gil at GCTech makes them sometimes. If you have FB send him a message and he would probably make you one. Ive got one in my garage waiting to go on my motor after I assemble it.

It is not really a difficult job. Just time consuming.

Starting to teardown interior. Measured shifter locations, it's crazy. My shifter will sit perfect height, same as a short shifter, and is lined up about 3" further forward than stock! Will use a simple bracket for that. Bueno. Or actually, does the bend in the stock shift arm bend backwards or just to the side a bit? maybe the shifter base is in the exact same spot even. Either way, I'll either make a bracket or use a mustang style shift arm (bends back a bit), easy stuff.

Looks like i'll have to modify the center console bottom metal part a tad in some spots. I am focusing a lot on making this as close as my amateur capabilities can to feel like a clean undramatic engine swap that uses as many factory items as possible. There are a lot of features that i'm going to make work. This is part of the reason why it's taking so long. I use the word "part" losely, i'm stupid slow and barely work on it and rebuild stuff eleventy times as i don't do it well enough the first time, this does add to it though. I'm aiming for stock ground clearance, stock interior, stock features, stock exhaust feel, use many stock parts, etc. I'm really trying to not lose a ton!

fyi you can take a box end wrench and cut a slot in the side and it works almost as well as a line wrench.
