    Fired up the old laptop to log what's going on....

    Noticed the lcdbc would show a higher peak knock count than I see while watching it. After watching knock on the HHH dash I realized the lcdbc is updating a little slower than the HHH. As a result I have been experiencing more knock than I was fully aware of.

    Think I might be ready for a Stage 2 Pampena shorty, but that ain't gonna happen until I do a leak down and some other testing.

    Today has been one of those days when I struggle to stay motivated I could just push it off a cliff... I'll get the motivation back, but I think we've all been there!

    I did get a tour of Beyond Redline in Green Bay. Great guys, cool place and a bunch of really rad rides there. JRink's beast might have been there too, very cool, very very cool.

    Got my car ready for the track tonight. Washed it, changed the oil, messed with launch control, removed my sub box/trunk floor and made a bracket to secure my meth tank without it, filled my meth tank, and put my cf sunroof on. I also finally put my extremepsi shift knob in. The 3sx short shifter was the same thread size as oem, but for some reason the knob wouldn't screw onto it. It threaded on fine to the stock shifter assembly. I ran a tap down the 3sx shifter to cleanup the threads and then it fit just fine.

    Drove it at 11k elevation then through Yellowstone. Almost home.... a half day tomorrow.

    How sturdy is your carbon fiber sunroof? Something I could hit triple digit speeds and feel comfortable with?

    Moved some parts around in the garage, hotter than hell. Got a free lawn mower to try to get my yard mowed so that the HOA doesn't complain..Went to start it and the cable snapped inside the sleeve. So going to have to make a new one, just too tired to do it now. Stopped by a bike dealership, still contemplating a small sport bike to get back and forth to Ninja with. Another VR4 would be nice, but gas mileage wouldn't be ideal, so looked at a Yamaha R3, Ninja 300 and a Honda CBR300. Definitely liked the R3 the best as far as ergonomics, however the only one they had was red. May just suck it up for the next few months, wait for riding season to end and try to pick up a used R3 then.
