    Cleaned these amongst others.

Helped disassemble. Parts trans (1,2 and R were all pretty toasty.)

    Checked out some impressive carnage.

Put the front bumper and corners back on this, installed some covers in the engine bay. Hopefully we have time tomorrow morning to tune it before the meet.

Also clearances another trans for a Pampena brace.

And drooled over this part waiting to go into mine

No time this visit to get it done unfortunately.

I'm getting ready to install my SCE and Quaife diffs. 1, 2, and R were all worn badly between 4 different transmissions I checked. Those seem to wear out the quickest. I'm going to run the 6-speed for a little longer and avoid any hard launches. I have plenty of spare shims ready to set the preload for the new diffs. Heating up the case where the bearing races sit with a torch seems to be the easiest way to pop them out. I'm hoping I don't melt the solder.

R seems to be pretty prone to being wiped. 2nd right behind it. There is a GM gear puller intended for like a rear differential that works for pulling those out. Just be careful not to damage the races.

Might be the one at the machine shop now, or the one that's going Monday. There's a few of them getting that done here
