What did you do today to your 3/S?

So I bought one of 3sx "custom chrome billet oil caps", which I got for $4.95 since I had a $20 GC for ride of the month... needless to say I would have been pissed if I planned on using this "as-is" because it was gouged. But I had other plans for it. Let me tell you, I hate working with billet aluminum, it is a much denser material versus cast. Took me the better part of four hours of grinding/sanding to get to a "flat" surface. Anybody want to guess what's going on top ? I'll update once the other piece comes in. I still need to drill and tap a hole for a larger bolt than what came on it.

close, not a turbo... but something in a turbo I only polished the topside because I wanted to see what it looked like LOL. It will most likely be covered. Haven't received it, supposed to be here hopefully Saturday. I will need to clean and polish it of course.

Was exited to install my coilovers and then my usual luck struck with this pos car.. managed to snap a corroded m10 bolt

What now? Drill and retap i guess... Off to rent some massive drill tomorrow morning. I bet that nut is tough...

Ouch.. I've yet to try to tap the D's threads on mine..got damaged removing the OEM shock

I installed my rebuilt plenum, TB from April, injectors from Evotuner along with resistors and the phenolic spacers.

Thank goodness I replaced the plenum, the old one had a bad VIC or something. When I removed the VIC motor to see about installing it on my new (to me) plenum the gear was stripped and black crap was all over the place. The shaft moved like crazy so I know the seals were bad. Hopefully it will run much better now. I'll need to pull the VIC motor off the new plenum and make sure it's not stripping too (I installed it per the instructions). I do not think the VIC was ever removed in the 16 years I've had the car so I'm not sure how long it's been bad or if it ever worked.
