I can tell you a story about seizing a pump, and the effects it has on the valve train, but I think you have gotten the picture. Unfortunately the previous owner of my mistress did not, and I suffered the consequences.

Banished one from the garage for the Winter to make room for the baby/wife-mover Expedition and my Winter-beater. Now the American vehicles outnumber the imports in my garage. :/ At least the remaining import out-powers the American's combined, with half the cylinders!
