    I broke my project

Long story short, I was trying to get to my bottle returns for a bottle drive and I knock it down trying to get the bottle container over my finish lumber...it is true, no good dead goes unpunished

Fortunately I used LED's, so I am only mildly set back.

I got the polished intake plenum in the mail today...It'll need some work, but it looks pretty good overall.

Today, After watching a youtube video, I put a new Head-unit in. Took me a bit longer than I thought, but it works correctly and I am happy. After replacing the Sony Xplode one, the bass seems to hit harder and everything sounds overall cleaner.

Today I worked on brackets and trying to fill in a bunch of gouges in my front bumper. Couldn't find a swap so looks like I'll be hacking into it for my FMIC, so I want it as good looking as I can. Made some calls and emails to folks to try to get some movement happening on these parts I've purchased that haven't arrived yet.

Been trying to clean the clear cover for my speed and tach cluster. It has some...kind of smear looking thing on it. Tried soap and water, goof off, acetone, pretty much everything you can think of. Finally said to hell with it, trying to wet sand it with like 2000 grit sand paper and polish it. If that doesn't work I'll just buy another cluster.

Make sure to use Autosol & a loosely-sewn buffing wheel. Don't apply too much pressure or else you will end up with a burn spot or worse; a noticeably uneven part...I've done a bunch of my plastic parts with this combo & have had great results.

Autosol is great stuff. I've been using it for aluminum for many years & have done a couple sets of headlight covers that came out great-
