    The third from the left rod bearing is schored pretty good on the right side, but the crank looks nothing like it. Puzzled.

    finally took the time to arrange to have my block and crank picked up to go to pampena. Something like $320 to ship & insure.

    Yeah... Kind of a pain to find a pallet, package/protect everything, find some way to move the ~200 lb pallet of shit around the garage, then finally work through freightquote.com's quote system... "Pilot Freight Services - Economy" is the company I chose (low bid... insured @ $500).
