Started installing TEIN S Techs on the rear. Also using a rust converter and then bed liner spray on everything under the car. Its looking pretty good so far. I will do the fronts when the engine is out, probably start that over the weekend.

I got all my stuff moved into the new house. So this weekend I will start tearing down my heads and reassembling them and then start putting the long block together!

Secured 3 of the 4 3sx poly mounts for $60 plus $10 postage. The missing one from the set I already had and was given for nothing. Complete set for $70 awesome! Would have preferred Seattle's mounts but that price can't be beat

Snook somebody in the trans section figured it out and the parts needed . Was posted a few days ago
I took apart the heads to reassemble them. Later to find out my torque wrench doesn't go down low enough for the torque specs needed. So I am waiting for tomorrow to find the torque wrench I need.

Well, last night I got the trans hooked up and the motor dropped in.....never dropping it from above again but it squeezed in there.

Unfortunately the differential/axle seal folded while we were driving it in, and noone has a replacement. The new motor doesnt have an EGR valve, and noone has a replacement, and the throttle body from Japan is different so Im having to use my old one, do you think anyone has gaskets? No, at least I can make that......
More to follow after tonights work. I will try to update as I go. Going to make a plate to omit the egr, though i doubt i will pass emissions. Are there any other model egrs that I could modify???

Putting an engine in from above is cake work. You just have to get the right tilt on the assembly and everything falls right into place.
Looks like you have a 1g. If it is you can delete the EGR without an issue. You don't really need an EGR to pass emissions. Not all 3/S's even came with EGR's.
If you are referring to the TB gasket, any parts store should have one.

I wouldn't use the crap paper TB gaskets, every time I have it has leaked. So unfortunately I try to keep a spare metal one from 3SX on hand in case I need it.
