    Which brand cams?

I'm going to stick with stock cams and stock valves on my 6G72 3.5L... E85 should allow me to blow past that ~630 awhp wall the stock cams impose. Generally speaking, I'm unimpressed with the quality control in cams in our community and I've always been amused by people dumping huge money into their valves on our interference engines.

    Keep it simple...

Plus one for that comment Adam!! I think I made that huge mistake when I decided to do the oversize valve thing. Now look at me lol. Bent valves again and oversize shit ain't cheap!!!

So what are you looking to get out of the 3.5? More bottom end torque? Keeping the 16g?

I have IPS 264s installed now. I have a lead on 272s that are also from IPS that I am looking to pick up.

I'll double check it but I did have multiple logs showing that. My idle is hunting now so I've got some vacuum leaks to chase down. I think I popped something off after a pull.
No not yet, I have to send the controller back. I think one of the daughter boards are loose, and causing issues. Does not connect. I may get a odb2 Y and connect both that way rather than doing pass thru. I need to do a little more research on it though.

Edit: I am a dumbass... I have the boost controller hardwired, so no pass thru needed.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

I'd be beyond happy if I could tap 700 AWHP when set for kill, but really, I want consistent, reliable power in the 600 AWHP range. I'm not interested in setting records or beating everything on the street. I want a car that I can enjoy on weekends, maybe even take to work?! and run 10's at will at the drag strip. I've got sufficient power for that with the original engine, but I always have to worry about crank flex and crap with it. Tired of being scared of spinning a bearing or the connecting rods fatigue-failing. I miss driving my car on the regular. I want the slightly stronger 6G74 crank. Couldn't really care less about the extra half liter, but it sure won't hurt the behavior of the E16G's.

Did your car perform like it should with those cams? Any dyno or track results?

No, its a forged crank in his 93. Just at bigger power its long term health prognosis isnt favorable.

No dyno 3's yet. I haven't been able to run it much since I decided to go another route on her and that was/is the 3.5.
