What did you do today to your 3/S?

Something great happened today! My new VR4 started for the first time after an engine swap! I haven't had a running VR4 since last February so I'm stoked to officially be back in the game.

I had an extra motor that I didn't really want to use because it has an oil leak that probably has to do with the head gaskets and head studs but I need to move next month so I didn't want to have to tow a non-operational VR4 again. The Vegas3S crew all helped and we got the car running in 2 weeks. There are still a few problems and I'm waiting on EGR block off plates still but it runs and it seems to run very strong. I'm happy that I finally have a drivable VR4 again

I pre-fixed the damage done by a dumb ass in the Kroger parking lot (OLDER than me, Mazda Miata guy)....

I rebuilt my shifter assembly, all new bushings and cleaned and greased. Feels amazing. Also cleaned and painted some stuff such as the metal brackets under the center console




also added this aftermarket steering wheel ive jad in my garage for ages.... I actually kinda like it.... Cleaned car, reinstalled antennea, replaced tach so now it works properly.

I finally got that damn Shark II antenna nut to start and the antenna is on and I love it. Just a PITA to put on

Completed the conversion (on my other car) from vr4 to fwd NA including the entire rear subframe. A lot of work.
