I'm not so sure I should really be trying to save mine. It's nearly 6 years old (mfg date is 6/06) I've abused it for most of those years, letting it sit in the car for long periods of time without driving it. I'm getting it to take a charge but i'm unsure how long it will last. I drive my car maybe once a month and normally have to have a trickle charger/maintainer on it. My Costco battery was only $65 plus tax and a core charge.

Yeah it's a screaming deal but at the same time I'd like to spend the money on something different too.

I pulled a bunch of parts under the 92 VR-4 off since the city sent me a letter about the car being on jackstands. I also chased down some more leaks on the Stealth and found a few new ones. I'm ordering seals from Cherry Hill to rebuild my throttle body since it needs it bad.

Didn't get as much done this weekend as I would have hoped. The timing belt slipped off the front intake cam while putting everything back together on the engine so the belt and everything had to come off. It turned out that the bolt for the timing belt tensioner pulley was very loose. I'm hoping that there wasn't any valve damage :\

Either way, I connected all of the electronics, vacuum line, water lines, ordered new EGR block off plates, completed the cruise control delete and edited this photo which was taken when we pulled the motor last weekend

Took off the downpipe, tcase, starter, both front brakes, axles, removed all wiring for the tranny to get ready to take it down. did all that in about an hour and a half. Makes a huge difference when you actually have the right tools. After I drop the tranny going to remove the brake booster, clutch booster and MC. fun fun fun

Mitsu doesn't offer the shaft seals that I know of, you have to get them from Mil-spec or other.
