Car came in on Tuesday. Got it into the garage but was a bit afraid to go through it. It had changed hands a few times in this condition and I really don't take chances when it comes to health and safety. I ordered up some ANSI rated needle resistant gloves.
They came in and I was able to go through the car. Luckily no needles and nothing too horrible. I think the short block is totally shot and the trans seems to make strange noises when I turn the input shaft.

got my driver's side Corbeau A4 installed, now awaiting install for the passenger side.

Need to relocate the BOV,, previous owner had it right before the MAF - gotta find someone local that can weld it. Weekend projects ahead!

POS car is sitting, I start it up weekly. Going to freshen up the engine in the spring, there is a "stumble" while accelerating. Haven't given up.

Like many others, I suspect - I solved my shifter issue of not staying in reverse unless held there. Also improved the feel of the changes into 2nd, 4th and 6th. Basically stock car but the counterweight on the shift tower shaft was fouling on the lower radiator hose. I'm new to the 3K cars and the issue had me worried! Huge thanks to @BaadVR4 for making the comment on this forum many years ago. Very relieved owner here!

I finally cleaned it out from where I piled it up when my move was imminent. Rather than put random parts in boxes and totes I stacked parts up completely filling it all but the driver's seat.

I drove it to the new house at the end of March (a whopping 1.2 miles) and since then it has only moved around in the yard when I am mowing.

I decided to get everything out of it so I can occasionally drive it the whopping 3.5 miles to work. I'm going to give it a quick vacuum and wipe down before it does actually go, but this is the closest its been to fully "mobile" in 4 or 5 months.

    Pictures, quick.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
