What did you do today to your 3/S?

I got the calipers installed and the new wheels mounted. Front calipers had to be ground down some to fit and I had to use a 3mm spacer. Still get about a 1/2 wheel poke on the front. The rear I used a 10mm spacer to pull them out some to match the fronts. nice wide stance now. Will get better pictures later once I get it out of the garage.






Also got the clear timing belt covers installed and they fit like crap. gaps everywhere!! wrote up a review on them here: http://www.3sgto.org/3000gt-stealth-...lt-covers.html



Funny, but by coincidence the calipers match the adjustable cam gears...LOL

Weighed my car today!

1530 kg/ 3373 lbs
After filling the tank almost full (60Liters)

Still have lots of weightloss mods left to do. Rws delete, cc delete, alu ds, singleshot exhaust(maybe tit). And waiting to machine a few custom engine brackets which will save some too
So with all those mods done eventually, I will land at 3283 lbs with full tank.

Active Exhaust is done. Just got it welded up and reinstalled tonight. Look for a long how to as part of my build thread:

It was Sunday, but close enough. I managed to install the replacement front crossmember, win a somewhat tedious fight of getting my front engine mount bolt installed, touched up some of the suspension components with paint where I nicked the powder coating during installation & got the new anti-sway bar end links installed...

Next up is to get the transfer case installed along with the other two crossmembers & get the exhaust hooked back up...things are getting serious, haha!!

as of yesterday, i officially plated my 93 3kgt...after a somewhat nationally known auto shop told me i needed to replace my entire rack and pinion (car just hit 57k miles) due to leak spots on the boots, which were not torn at all. took it to a shop that was local...they said theres no way it needs to be replaced. guess im not going to the other place anymore.

couldnt think of a name for her but sure enough the DMV issued a license plate with the first 3 letters as PAM....so just for fun i named her that.

also cleaned out the glove box from the first owner...found the original window sticker $26,000 new. and it had a receipt for new clutch in 2009. soon to be taking a trip to charlotte to pick up some rims for it.
