Ya like I'm not to sure about that still. His recent 700 was with my SMIC's. Those numbers may have been when he first put the DR750's on. I'm local to him and remember when he first put them in there and pretty sure he used a set of the Alamo he had laying around. Think that's a misquote as he did have stock exhaust and maybe the intercooler piping.

Rough day for me. Room mate tried to order cable, but put it in their name. So time warner closed my internet account, and I got to spend an hour fighting with them this morning to try to get it fixed (its not.)

Started working in the brake job for my truck. To change the rotor the caliper, caliper mounting bracket, pads, 4x4 hub and wheel bearings all get to come off. Snapped a bolt on the caliper mounting bracket so now I'll get to sit there and try to get it out aomehow before I can get the bracket off. I may just buy a new lower bracket and cut this one down with the angle grinder to try to use it to unthread the remainder of the bolt that's in there. Better than buying a whole new knuckle. Since its all apart though, may go ahead and do the wheel bearings as well (had planned on putting them off till after winter.).

Between fixing the garage door and trying to fix the truck, all the extra money I had saved up for a new shell is now gone.

Edit: but wait, there's more! The last person in here stripped out one of the screws for the locknut ring that holds the wheel bearings in. Hurrrrrrrray!

Last week I replaced my burned up fog light bulbs.

I made solid spacers for the shift cable bracket on the trans of my VR4 and replaced the nylatron bushing on the bottom of the shifter. This was a big improvement but I'm really looking forward to replacing the cable bushes with brass and solid shifter base bushings.

Really enjoying driving this car and making small improvements.

Damn, I commend you for encountering that many things and still moving forward. I probably would have gotten pissed, gave up and started drinking.

Definitely better. These federal 595 should serve well for now, and they were very inexpensive.

On to other maintenance items.

Well, TWC managed to fuck up and disconnect our (paid ahead for) internet. Only just got it back yesterday. Not happy about it, but they know we don't really have any other comparable options so they aren't doing anything for us. The 800 number was useless, but my local office at least managed to get the account turned back on.

As far as 3S stuff, had USPS damage a DR Street Cam I sold. They've informed me that since I didn't take pictures of the camshafts and packing and blah blah blah before hand, they're not covering it. Fairly pissed as I'm now out that money unless I can convince DR to sell just the one cam (which I find unlikely.)

Finally got all the front brake stuff off the truck, however it did in fact damage all 4 of the wheel bearings (278k on them, was about time anyhow.) I've also found a leak from my steering rack gear box connected to the pittman arm, which needs to be fixed but is going to have to wait. Bearings won't arrive until around the 3rd of December, which is disappointing, but hopefully get them squared away and on the truck that weekend. When it's in the low 20s in the mornings, makes having to take the bike a very difficult proposition. 120 miles round trip, have insulated pants and jacket, but feet and hands bout freeze off.

Working with Chris to finalize our list of Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. Hope you guys like what we've come up with.
