installed the charcoal seat cover for the rear seat bottom finally. its not perfect but its better than having that piece be the only part of the seats that is still cream colored.

You seem to be missing a camshaft from each head sir

Looks very good, jealous. Tell us what it's like to have a reliable engine?

I've seen people run a LOT worse cam journals than that. I personally feel that the cam itself is scrap though, it looks really rough.

Would think getting just one set of journals line honed would be fairly cheap (probably less than $50 but that's a guesstimate) however I think throwing another cam in there would just eat it up like your current one.

I've never seen a machine shop that would let you line hone just one set of journals... but putting another cam in there would be fine. The journal is soft aluminum and the cam is hardened...

This was last night, but I put I put some new headrests in out of a Starion.

Your 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL is one of 4310 that received VIN numbers. Based on the order of the serial numbers, your car was the 2685th out of the 4310 that were made that year.

Lets see, I took my timing belt back off, took the cam gear off, and the backing plate, just so I could put a bracket in I forgot to put in, then put everything back together. Cleaned up the alternator and ended up putting a coat of paint on it. Cleaned up my tensioner pulley and put a coat of paint on it.

All I really need to do to the engine now is get the valve covers painted and on, and get over to my cousin's place and attempt to hydrodip the intake manifold.
