Adam is the man! I wished I lived close enough to him or Greg to get my car tuned.

When I got the loan I had to put my truck up as collateral as well. Plus my bank is pretty lenient with me since I've borrowed and paid back around half a dozen car loans since I turned 16.

Well congrats on paying it off. It's always a great feeling to get rid of some debt.

Working on getting the engine back together and hit a snag. When tightening all of the rod caps on the rotating assembly spins "fine", get to #4 rod and as soon as I torque the bolts it pinches the crank and it will no longer spin. Polished crank, honed/cleaned block, cleaned pistons. I'm taking it back to the machine shop in a few hours to see if they can see what happened, only things I can think of are they mixed the rod caps or a bearing issue. After tearing it down at least 2 times and checking everything again I determined it to be the #4 rod causing the problem.

So after I get the block straight I need to re-lap all of my valves, only a few didn't leak when I tested them with water and compressed air the first time. Uggghhhh.

Caliper powder coating is $70 per caliper. Plus the cost of the rebuild kit. They all need rebuilt when powder coating as I strip them all the way down to clean and blast them. Non-OEM rebuild kits are $15.00 each so that totals $85.00 per caliper.

Total cost for all 4 calipers powder coated and rebuilt is $340. Then Shipping is additional cost.

Shop will only open a couple more weeks as I'm closing down the month of June to prep parts and the car for NG. So all my orders have to be done prior to June 1st.
