    Per the DMV's website:

"According to state law, any antique, rare or special interest motor vehicle, as defined in section 14-1, shall be assessed at a value of not more than 500 dollars."

Haven't contacted the tax assessor's office yet but I will soon. All cars 20+ years are now considered antique/classic in CT, although still need emissions testing until over 25 years.

Drove it to work, heard a loud clicking sound from the front drivers side, pulled over to find the inner axle boot on the drivers side is flinging grease, and got back in the car and continued to drive to work. =/ Cant win.

Yesterday I pit 5 gallons of gas in a gas can for it. Plan on draining out the tank and putting the fresh gas in it and trying to get it started again for the first time since last summer.

Removed dust/splash shields in anticipation of swapping in the new DSM sidemount on the passenger-side tonight.

The difference in difficulty between the two sides was not anticipated; by comparison with the driver-side IC, this one will damn near fall out all by itself; if I had known, I'd have left the whole thing for tonight, as I had to leave things last night in order to attend my grand-son's ball game.

I think I'll have an hour-and-a-half into this one, after spending most of last Saturday on the driver's side, and still having one mounting bolt to finagle, there.

battling a leak on my 6 speed tranny drain plug and a leak on my power stereing pump. A friend recommended using a o2 sensor plug from a downpipe on the tranny drain plug as it is a bit longer, its tightening but still have a small leak, now I put teflon tape on it a biger washer and some rtv lol I gotta go look this morning ! otherwise that billet broomfield endcase looks really nice.

I had a leak on the PS pump for a while, bought another PS pump and still had the leak, this time I had the PS pump locally rebuilt and frik there is still the leak so now I am suspecting the hose that goes over the shaft. Do these Hoses/alumnium connectors ever wear out? I put some RTV over the o-rings, not sure this is a good idea, I gotta go look on this this morning too.

Original owner painted all the interior trim white. So I have been slowly replacing it back. I also replaced the carpet for new black instead of the grey panel. The white trim was just too much. Also was tired of how fast it would get dirty lol.

Are you using copper/ aluminum crush washers? I have heard of people having much better luck using those washers that have a metal outer ring but rubber inner ring like this one:

As for hoses, some will develop leaks where they are crimped for the high pressure connectors. Ive seen it happen on other cars though. Most 3/s Power steering leaks I have seen are on the rack/ rack lines.
