    Engine made it in....

Rear wastegate fitment is almost like it was planned.........

Can probably run it as is, but will likely snake an extension down under subframe and back.

Alternator mounted, but not much else. Travel for work for a few days, so won't get back at it until this weekend. Hopefully atx intermediate shaft will be here by then also.

Have you run your car much open exhaust? It gets pretty dirty under there

Back when I had open dumps on JPDC adapter plates I used shitty flexible steel exhaust pipe to extend them... It actually worked just fine.

Was thinking about a flexible pipe. Would definitely be easy from where it is now. Seems like cheating though since I have the welder

Eric you Son of a mother...

I knew in the back of my head that you wouldn't sit still another week with the motor/trans mated, just sitting mounted on the lift, in front of the car; BEGGING to be dropped in...you gave in

Awesome work...you put other 3/s enthusiasts to shame...*cough* not me *cough*

It gets super damn dirty under there with dumps. Looks like a diesel running open downpipe lol.

What did you do today to your 3/S?

E85 is much cleaner but I will be adding an extensions anyway. More to make sure deoxygenated air goes out of my engine bay and no chance of turbo ingesting poor air.

Nomie, you're just scared of the 14b hurtin' that's coming your way this spring Better get those big hair dryers cranked up soon!

Well, ordered a new Eclipse 3g air bag for my steering wheel as I switched the Eclipse 3g wheel during the rebuild since my stock 1g was totally shot, and I snagged a 3g airbag for dirt cheap, but it wasn't in great shape (the leather had a tear although the bag had never been deployed.) I also ordered my solid tensioner and kevlar timing belt for Maddog to test out in the video and give us some data. Won't change what I use unless there is some massive issue with the solid tensioner and kevlar (which I doubt otherwise there'd be more issues from people.)

Also sat in the seats I picked up from familyMAN which got soaked on the drive back over..While still wet, I forgot how insanely comfy the seats were..Has me thinking I should pick one up cheap and turn it into an office chair

Current plan is to take my haul of parts (coil overs and adapters, the Oohnoo fuel system that is teh sexxors, and tan leather interior) down to where the car is and bring up what's left of sellable parts. Think I've got a set of glass headlights that I was going to use for a project that I've abandoned, plus I want to do a completely modified fuel hat (beyond just the AN conversions I offer now that replace busted hard lines) with new wiring that I plan on marketing once it's done as a cheaper/better alternative to the 3SX and IPS hats (no disrespect to them) and hopefully pulling the red interior out of the Stealth to try to sell. Unfortunately selling the red interior will likely require freighting and that may be a problem since I don't have power tools or anything here.

Other concern: Heads won't be done by this weekend, so it likely won't be till May at a minimum that I can even reassemble my long block. And I'm stuck waiting on parts to sell before I can afford to figure out an intercooling solution. While a dual core FMIC is likely to be cheapest, I'm leaning more and more honestly towards doing a FMOC and getting custom side mounts fabbed up with custom piping so long as I can keep it reasonable. If I recall correctly, straight 2" piping could flow ~700cfm with the same pressure drop (around 1psi IIRC) as our factory SMIC piping sizing (1.5") flows in a straight length (~360cfm). Given that the effect is likely amplified in turns, I would think that 1.75-2.00" piping would be ideal, probably on the side of 2" piping to ensure support for pretty much whatever I want to throw at it. Mind you I sold my SMIC piping long ago anyhow, but still, the factory pipes would cause significant pressure drop with the airflow of 13Ts (roughly 430cfm each) although admittedly I wouldn't be able to take full advantage of 2" piping either. Requires more thought, but figuring somewhere around an 8x6x6 dual SMIC set up should provide roughly 20 sq in of internal flow even with eBay cores (although they wouldn't be my first choice) which puts me roughly around 9-10 sq in per (ideal) 100hp of what the turbos are capable of producing...Which is probably overkill as well, although those numbers are probably optimistic given that they are the result of drunken scrap paper quick calculation. Of course finding 6" thick cores may not be as easy as finding something in the 2.5-4.5 range, so may just be out of luck and have to pony up for Bell or similar to pursue that which would likely double or triple the cost. Requires more thought and some sobriety.

Ahh yes..The slow decent into rambling madness. I'll maybe go back and re-edit it later.

Valuable lesson here: Mixing HW and whiskey with posting on forums ends poorly.
