"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Eric...its gonna take a magician to fit that thing into the engine bay...GOOD LUCK...you're gonna need it!![]()
Not worried about the front. It doesn't sit any further forward than it did before and I had things to reference for measurements. Rear is the concern. I will make the rear fit, it's just a lot of work when it's already in the car and there was no way to figure out all the obstacles on the stand.
1992 Kilder Green VR4 - First 4G swap in a 3S. 2.0, auto, awd. 9.65 at 143mph. Now LS swapped. 8.52 at 162.
Nothing like familyMAN's report, but I ordered five gauges that should look OEM with amber lite font at night.
Cool that you are going with amber lighting. Keeps OEM feel. What brand gauges did you go with? Going to replace the stock 3 also I assume? I have the gauges I want to use but haven't tackled the dash yet. Think I will get it running first![]()

I went with Revolution series by Speedhut.
I will have a thread / blog about how well they do or do not match OEM amber when they come in.
Pulled my rear dr750 for a return line leak and I find this. 20140228_114632.jpg
Have timing figured out for the weekend yet? Don't bring too good of a camera; my garage is a freakin' mess. You taking the extra interior will help!!
I should be able to just unbolt the rear wastegate dump and snake it in and out when engine is in car to make final fitment. Front will be complete tonight (after fixing power cord on angle grinder) and require no mods after install.
If it makes you feel any better in advance, this is as much of my garage as I'm willing to show off. It's a mess and way too packed.
To add something of value to the thread, in the last few days these arrived for my 3S (even if I can't install them for a while):
Realized today that my photobucket is horrifically overdue for an overhaul and organization.
