Since I bought the car, it's been completely seized to where the key wouldn't even begin to penetrate the cylinder. Using a small flat-head screwdriver, hammer, wire terminal file, and some silicone grease I got it working like new! Even freed up the tiny little springs in there. Probably the most tedious work I've done so far, but feels good to accomplish something that's been on the to-do list for so long. Next order of business, stop the machine gun locks when unlocking...
Lmao @ the machine gun locks. Still need to do that myself

Bought a NM ECS module & RH snake eye from what looked to be a rather nice R/T TT (at least prior to a LH side impact).

    Productive day for me!

Started with some cleaning. Pulled out the console carpets and trunk carpet for a deep clean. + a bunch of other boring stuff. Then pulled off both door panels for no good reason and found that both speakers had none of the surround material left. To Best Buy I went. (Speaker is upside down in this pic.)

I had to mess around with the stereo wiring for a while because the head unit was in non-stop reboot mode. In the end, it was just a bad ground. While half the interior was apart, I mounted the TruBoost and ran the wires down to the console - the rest will probably wait until spring. Also re-installed the climate control.

If anybody has a tip for mounting the Hazard switch, please let me know.

Anyways, I'm curious if that head unit has Bluetooth capabilities & if so, which model is it & what do you think of its features?

I've been looking into getting something to swap out mine with (needs to be Bluetooth & preferably touchscreen), but I haven't really had much luck finding one that would fit into our designated stereo opening.

    Thanks!

I don't use Bluetooth, but it looks like it is Bluetooth ready - meaning it needs an adapter.

It is cheap! My only complaint so far is the volume control. Sometimes when I hit it - it goes back to the source screen. This can be avoided by using the remote.

Swapped out the VSS last night for what seems to be another bad one, but in the process found even more places someone decided it was not necessary to replace the bolts they had taken out. I guess it counts for some weight reduction...

I thought you meant valve stem seals haha I would have been mad if I did that job and they were bad. I've noticed some bolts missing on my car.. then later find them under the plenum and in other hiding places lol
