    this describes the only reason i still have my car. i am not spending more money on it anytime soon though, just trying to drive it to the point i feel i have broken even. it will take 10+ years im afraid...

    The drivers side just barely touches the dash. I couldve sanded down the speaker pod, but there wasnt enough pressure to cause any issues. Im not concerned at all.



    The passenger side is fine.



    Damn, that last pic really shows the sawdust LOL.. I better take care of that.

    I am debating about mounting my mid-bass driver like this. But am really going for a Stealth install (see what I did there )

    That missing tab that is a different angle (that aligns with the dash) almost doesn't look missing with the door closed.

    You should do some measuring and test fitting. You may actually like the setup. I know for a fact that I love mine. Theres a night and day difference between my stock mids and these AAs. They honestly dont even compare. What mids are you running now?

    Are you referring to the screw on the drivers door? If I get a new screw, then the speaker's mounting ring might not even touch the dash anymore.
