I finally got to see the results of my Pine-Sol soak.

I dont think I would recommend the pine sol soak, especially with the lifters in the head. I would get some lube on that head ASAP.
yeah already did. The head is coming apart for new valve seals but Pine-Sol is safe on rubber. It was pretty awesome how easy the oil stains came off. Do some research on Pine-Sol before knocking it.![]()
Not trying to knock it. It wasnt the rubber I was concerned about, it was the pulling of all the oils out of the metal that concerned me. But if it doesnt bother you, thats cool. It did seem to clean it up pretty good.
I would not have done this unless I was planning to pull apart the heads. Might be a good point to make before someone does this without that intention.![]()
