I finished all the rum and finished stripping the old short block.

Now that that is over I can start the pumps and timing part tomorrow.

Alright cool never thought that. Thanks for schooling me lol

    Did a little tuning:

    93 octane.
    15 PSI or less

To be honest I am not positive about the boost, except it is 15 PSI or less. I don't really have the time to stare at the boost gauge and I didn't have time to hookup my map sensor logging today. I just wanted to get a decent pump gas tune before changing to e85. There are a few bumps to clear out, but this is just with tuning a bit along the road, really the result of only 2 pulls. It is a little fat up top, but I'd rather have it setup this way than chase 10 more HP by leaning it out. It will be time to get the boost logging and start tuning the e85 next. If I start getting over 500 I will probably chill out until the gathering.

The weight may seem high to you guys, but the car is FULL weight, had almost a full tank of gas, and a passenger with me. I'm around 220 myself.

I ordered a pair of StrongArm rear hatch struts, placed an order for various small items I need to re-install the radiator, & plan on doing some more plating & clean-up my fans later tonight.

yes pure pump, stock timing as well. I'm sure I could pull 50+ more out of it with just a little bit more boost. I saw absolutely zero knock as it is.

yeah, that's what i was thinking. 400whp is very impressive for such a mild tune.

thanks, I didn't really expect a whole lot more than that at this boost. Basically running stock afr, timing, heads, cams, etc. Small maf. 97,000 mile engine. Most of the parts I have on the car aren't worth a ton of power at this level anyway.

that makes the case for 750's very compelling indeed. i just wasn't certain that they could dish out 600whp on a 3.5L with pure pump--and i'm fairly certain that 16g's can. but we'll see.
