Today I did some more sanding on my rear valve cover & finished up some more electroplating on the RH-side rear splash shield bolts & u-clips.
...and I'm still continuing to save up for the transaxle overhaul as well as the last several hundred I still need to do the rest of the front end rebuild/update.
Yeah, I certainly didn't want to risk getting any foreign debris inside the baffling. I'm satisfied with how well they turned out...a bunch of flakes came loose in the washer, so the baffling should be nice & clean now.

I pulled the hood, bumper, turn signals, and glass headlights from a junkyard car for ~$200. The headlights were dirty on the inside. They have been taken apart, cleaned, robo modded, and painted satin black. I am just waiting on my red LED halos to come in so that I can reassemble and reinstall them. Eventually I plan to go 97-98 front bumper. Just waiting for one to pop up at the right price.
Got it some more goodies.

painted my underbody with zero rust, raptor bedliner going on it next, then off to paint.
Began a headlight mod that I haven't seen before, at least on our cars. Should end up being pretty cool.
Bought a mint Palm M515 so I can start to piece together a datalogging unit.
