What did you do today to your 3/S?

Bought a 93 RT/TT for a great deal... Going to start fixing it up and transplanting a couple parts. But first order of business is to fin oil pressure problem.

The zero oil pressure problem?

I eyeballed my alignment awhile ago installing coilovers. Take a digital level, zero it out on the concrete surface, place it on your wheel with two small pieces of flat stock underneath it so the level will clear the tire, and look to see what your camber is. To check your toe use a string line between two jackstands, measure at the center caps so you get equal distance, and then measure at the front or back of the wheels to see if it's positive or negative. That's how Chris(Forest Gump) said he does his DIY alignment. If I dd my car I would probably get a lifetime alignment. This gets me close enough. I wear my tires out quicker from spinning them or sliding through turns.

Busted out the new timing gun and tuned it some. then took some logs with my phone... pretty bad ass...

I was able to install an upgraded 20Hz processor for the LCD BC and also a new enhanced OBDII/MUTIII cable. Because of fighting the flu all weekend I haven't gotten anything else done.

The zero oil pressure problem?

Not exactly zero, when cold start. It will be high, a little above what the stock gauge says is normal for hot idle. After it starts to warm up it drops to about 2 or 3 ticks above the L Mark.

Just have to wait and see with an aftermarket gauge

Mine was always at 2-3 marks above the low mark when it was hot, IIRC.

Took the heads, and crank to the machine shop. Then decided F-it the block, and pistons are going in tomorrow to get the rotating assembly balanced, assembled with coated bearings, and new rings...
