I think I have mangled it beyond that hahaha attacked it again today and tried the old cold chisel and hammer trick but cus the nuts are resesed into the wheel it's very hard. I htink all I did was make it impossible for anything else to get the nut off. I'm thinking that I might just have to try to split the nut with the cold shisel or break the wheel stud and fit a new one

It's not like a regular socket. They have teeth-like twists, that bite when you turn it, gouge into the metal, and force it off. Doesn't matter if it's completely rounded or not.
Circa 2005... Oh my, how far I've come

I've heard of these sockets.. they are amazing and they WILL work!! No matter how mangled the bolt head is.

Yeah but Snap-On are far far far too expensive. That one bit would no doubt cost $150.00 over here. And my blood, sweat & tears are free. I'm thinking I might attacked an old socket with an angle grinder and make something like that and then use an impact driver and give it a whack with a hammer.

they sell a kit at autozone for 20 bucks for the metric and the case then the standard set for another 20, but they take out completely round bolts and screws.

Drove it today, after it has been sitting for months. Proceeded to take it down to wash it, bring it back, park in garage, and cover it. Probably will stay like that until next month. One day I would put in that driver's side motor mount I polished and try installing the craptastic CF timing belt cover I bought from Chaser (I'm probably being a little to optimistic about the CF covers).

Well went around a a mates workshop and raided his tool box. Found a nice set of easy off nut removers. 5 mins later it was done. Should have called him in the first place instead of wasting 2 hours last night. At least I got 4 free beers out of it. My neighbour kept delivering me beer while I worked hahaha.
Will try to fit new wheels tomorrow woo hoo.

    Fixed for you

Well I got that last lock nut off today so made an appointment to get the tyres swapped over to the new rims. Thought i'd better test fit them even though 3 differnt shops said yes they will fit. One went as far as saying these are gauranteed to fit my car.

Guess what???? THEY DON'T FUCKING FIT AAAAAGGGGHHHHHH FUCK FUCK FUCK. looks like i'll be attacking the calipers with an angle grinder tomorrow morning. They just hit the inside edge of the caliper. Whouldn't have this problem with the 2nd gen brakes cus they sit further away from the hub.
