Got the motor in the truck to be taken to buddy's garage tomorrow. Kinda excited to actually be doing something with it finally.
Well got it completely torn down. Was actually really fun to do. Now I just need to wait for my buddy to get a micrometer or take them to the machine shop so that we can figure out exactly what I have and what I need to order. One thing that worries me though is the piston skirts had some signs of scraping so I'm not sure if the pistons are re-usable. I will try to get pics up asap.
Covered it in mud, again.
Changed my oil and the filter, my old filter k&n 1004, was stuck. Had to hammer a screwdriver thru it and twist it off. Lol. Put new plugs, gapped to .24 and now just waiting on my new msd wires I bought from Hans at GZP. Was also wondering if I should put my plenum spacer back on or not. What do u think?
