Haven't read anything about those. HKS seem to have quite a few go bad. AEM twin fire is generally considered crap unless something changed. Matt M says the KB boost-a-spark (not to be confused with boost a pump) has blown his eci fuse many times and recommends the HKS. MSD may be okay. Need to look into it more, but I don't need all of the bells and whistles (timing retard, rev limit, etc), since I have AEM to control of that.

Nope. I'm running E35-40 fuel right now. I haven't switched to full E85 just yet. I was doing some troubleshooting I thought was because of the ethanol but ended up being a leaking fuel pump hose not building enough pressure causing lean misfires so bad you'd swear I had a machine gun and motorcycle mating in the engine bay producing a god awful noise out the exhaust. It didn't hurt the motor but was seriously annoying. I'm at +20% fuel already with the 91/E85 mix at 23 psi so I have to swap some bigger injectors in or put a flashed ECU in so I can add some more fuel because the ARC-2 is maxed. For now I'm not changing anything until I get dyno and track numbers that way it's easily reproduceable instead of fine tuning the AFR and timing for the most power. People spending $3k on these turbos want average results. A few want all out results and they'll come in time.
I have new coils, ptu, wires, NGK R5671A-8 plugs gapped at .028, and so far haven't hit spark plug blowout but my HKS DLI is sitting in the closest ready to go. I'm not sure how much further I can push this hotwired Aeromotive Stealth pump. I really need to order upgraded lines so I can install my fuel rails, AFPR, dual pump fuel hat, and fuel pressure gauge but for now I'm keeping it simple.
Yes it's very crazy. I've convinced quite a few guys on other platforms that these cars can be such a blast. Every single person always comments "My God it pulls so hard!" which is cool coming from bigger displacement guys. I have a feeling I won't be touching your 19T numbers without running more boost. It doesn't seem like more than a 470AWHP car right now although my butt dyno really can't tell. I know it's at least a mid 11 car but more than that I'm not sure. I'll probably just be shooting for a 11.99 because I'm still not completely comfortable launching this unbraced 6-speed knowing it could split if I mess up. I may launch will lots of slip to reduce the shock. When my 5-speed goes in I'll give it hell. I want to keep my car together right now. It's too much fun.![]()

What did I do today for one of my 3s cars? I bought a 6g74 w/all forged internals and a motor plate! Now I have to refigure cam size for my build. 272s or 280s? I have the IPS EVO III (mhi) setup. Maybe upgrade to MTC stage 4's later on.
His are a 272 abouts iirc.

Are you using evoscan logging through the serial expansion port of the LCD BC Coop? I was having trouble with mine getting good logs. I kept getting disconnects and some of the values made no sense or weren't working. I'm thinking I may need to run a different xml file or reinstall. The turbos do start spooling at 2100 rpms though. I'll double check it but I did have multiple logs showing that. My idle is hunting now so I've got some vacuum leaks to chase down. I think I popped something off after a pull.
