Washed it because it got all dirty in San Francisco during the meet.

Front U-joint is failing.
I found a yellow in his sample sheets that match a shade of yellow you could see in the paint as you looked at in in the sun. I took a piece of my broken side skirt in to match, with that pice and his color swatches I picked a color that you could see in the pearl yellow.
It would of cost me 400 just in powder by the time I paid to have a spectrometer analyze the Pearl Yellow and create a custom powder to match.
Here is a sample of the powder color I went with for engine bay parts that will be powder coated.
I will also have the 5zigens done in this color as well:
As you look at the original wheel color, and what new color I picked they are very close. The new color may have a lil bit more metallic in the finish. I think I made a good choice in a "hyperblack" powder coat color.
Your engine bay color is within spitting distance of my wheel color, Steve.
I think you're gonna love that.![]()
I took a couple of cell phone pics at MOD yesterday.
Scott's car, once tuned probably the most powerful car there, even higher than the build EVOs.
Jeremy with his 10.
Frank won best of Show and got a $500 gift certificate!
I won best 3000GT, which I guess means second for our group since Frank would have won had he not gotten Best of Show.
And I got a $250 gift certificate.
Mike won Oldest mitsu. His car always amazes me. I have never seen this car not look like it just came off of the factory floor.

Not quite sure I understand it either. It definitely creates space in the engine bay and saves weight, but I'd be nervous about those welds fatiguing. Were these heat treated after welding? If not, the welds and immediately surrounding aluminum is quite weak, about as strong as good engineering plastics like Delrin. Also, this plate will increase the space between the bell housing and block, reducing input shaft spline engagement with the clutch. What am I missing?
