Did some tinkering around today. Trying out clear hoses, starting with the smaller ones first in case they don't hold up. Cleaned up a lot of unneeded stuff with the vacuum lines. Not sure if I if I even need this one last sensor. I usually only get to work on this thing a few minutes at a time, so it's taking forever. Could also use some serious cleaning...

Your car is going to look badass with the 96 wing.

Speaking from experience...fyi the clear hoses quickly turn nasty colors once they get hot or coolant/oil gets into them.

Not on mine, but Vicki and I drove back up to Rick's (of Rick and Brenda) and worked on his stealth so it would be running well again for BRG, or just for him to enjoy around his neighborhood.

It was not able to get into boost without chugging, coughing etc.

Easy fix, removed the E3 plugs and installed NGK copper 7s gapped to 28. Runs like a champ now

Funny, 7 hours of driving, 1 hour of working LOL. And of course a few hours visiting with Rick and talking.

Coolant flush? Also, you're going to be replacing those pretty often, as they are known to deteriorate aesthetically like previously stated.

I would say it's a combination of that and the heat. The condition of the hose will be fine, but it will get that "yellowish" hint to it. Would be a great idea for a show car.

That's the idea. It was just an experiment to see how it would look, to check for fitment and being able to bend without kinking. Gonna drive with them a week or two and see how they hold up. I suspect they will be yellow by next weekend lol. Anyway, just wanted to try it. I'm sure much better if the TB and water housing were polished and some better clamps. I think it would be awesome to have every single line with any kind of fluid clear. Except maybe the AC, don't see that working out so well.

New built shortblock for my 93:

    to this (pampena heads):

Its been bored .040 over with forged pistons. Heads were done by Ray. 99 Lifters installed. Just need to throw my 13G's on, put the timing stuff on, and my 500 cc injectors and this one should be ready to rock! Already have a rebuilt 25 spline tranny for it and stage 3 spec clutch.
