Also just finished working on these.

Thanks to Rakuny for powdercoating and sourcing the new shiny hardware hiding in the background.

Any issues with powdercoating these? I have heard that it is a bad idea before but would love a gloss black one to match my plenum/valve cover.

oddly enough, when I pulled my dash my windshield never fogs up in the rain anymore.

nice little gauge cluster you got there how do you replace the handbrake, anyway? do you just slip that over the top?

how you tried putting anything over microphone hole to keep the sound from clipping? I heard a band-aid works well to kill wind noise.

Guessing this is actually referred to me. Yea, does the job, lol. Handbrake handle slips over and is secured with allen set screws. It's for an EVO, was a gift at MOD, as was that oil temp gauge that replaces the drain plug.

The microphone has adjustable gain, I turned it down some for the racing shots, and I think it did the trick considering it didn't clip with open O2 dumps. I haven't run it at high speeds yet so I don't know how much wind it'll pick up in various locations.

drove the car today again after switching the the evo 9 bov. Part throttle driveability seems improved. I keep expecting the car to stutter, not idle right, etc, and instead it runs fine.

Going to take a while to stop waiting for the thing to blow up or die. 50 miles on the rebuild
