Yep, TOTALLY acceptable for a bolt-on performance part............NOT. STILL hits at full droop on stock struts, but my suspension limits droop enough to clear.

    related things done this weekend:

    free AWS delete plugs: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...4-08172132.jpg

More adjustment range on the camber/caster plates: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...4-08181831.jpg

Not today, but on Friday, I finally pulled the engine and trans out. Have a ton of things to do ahead of me. Ordered an lcdboostcontroller setup, need to work on trans rebuild (synchros, billet end case, billet forks, reinforce bell housing, quaife lsd, and 300m output shaft), plus much more down the line.

I had the weekend off and worked on the car as much as possible I...

finished assembling the front sub frames
    Removed the dash
deleted A/C including the part under the dash
    removed more interior brackets
cut into my wiring and removed everything that I no longer need with the deletes I've done (CC, AA, AE, ECS, ABS, etc.) I am fully done with the interior and am pulling the fenders to continue into the engine bay tomorrow.
I de-loomed the engine harness to ready it for mock up and tucking when the engine goes back in
    painted the engine block
Tore down the dash to install gauges and new defroster vents

And I accidentally left the camera sitting on the front fender
UMG is coming up quick, starting to get concerned I won't be done in time...

I need to try with mine.
Well I have a charger on it right now and it says it is taking a charge, it is a year old 'smart' charger and seems to be working with the optima just fine. What you described is how Optima recommends bringing the battery back from the dead if you have an older style charger.

Make sure to fill out the lifetime warranty card and include pictures of the installation problems.. maybe they will revise it

Edit: Does this mean you came up with an acceptable way to attach the swaybar endlinks to those adjustable LCA's? Care to share ?

Nope, AWS line bursting forwarded my time table, and next races are too close to keep R&Ding it. Running stock LCA's until after Road America, then I'll make a decision whether to try and get it done before NG or hold off until season ends.

Cut off about a 1/2" from the end and slid it back on. This will do for now.

A charger alone wasn't enough for mine. It discharged over 2 days after charging for several....

Probably won't be able to make that one, that weekend is already booked unless something frees up.
