I see what your saying now....I keep it simple tho.... hanging with drifters alot and what not....that's what we do...

70 is alot of side wall fine for a truck or passenger vehicle...30 is too little...40 depends on wheel gap, and 45 is justtttt right

frankly i hate my undersized tires, but i didn't want to roll around on mismatched rims, and for the price of matching the tire that popped on my car it would cost me the same to buy the 4 i have on there now and have them all mounted. 100$ + 40$ for valvestems, balancing and mounting.
anyway i like where my speedo is at. it saves me from tickets.

Depends how wide the tire is.

AGAIN, the second number depends on the first. If someone put a 355/45/17 on a 3s it wouldn't fit. Because that 45 is 45% of 355.

We'll do the math again.

355/25.4 = 13.97
13.97 * .45 = 6.2865
(6.2865 * 2) + 17 = 29.573

That is a small truck size tire right there.

You were the one who brought your friends into this, and you were the one who said you "keep it simple." If thats how they figure it out, then they are not as smart as you think.

LOL More the guy that shakes his head and doesn't say anything when someone tells me i'm losing power for taking my cat off because of lack of backpressure and i'm going to melt my valves from running lean.

Got the Stealth running again finally... Alternator swap, replaced all 24 valve stem seals, and all 24 lifters, and put on a 3SX lightweight crank pulley.
