I just got done removing the exhaust, driveshaft, tcase, starter, and drained the oil that only has ~20 miles on it so that I can prepare to replace my oil pump while its all apart for new cam seals. I swear, the smallest jobs always turn into huge projects on this car.

If you're rockin' some ARP's isn't the 2 bolt just as tough to a degree?

That is true, that's why the 94+ TT motors are forged from the factory and are 4-bolt, just sucks they didn't fix the never ending lifter tick noise til 99.

    @ isiah - you too!

99 lash adjusters are no better than 91. Same size oil feed hole. They are just newer and cleaner. Clean your 91's and you are good to go. It's what I run. They are less prone to throw rockers if they pump down than the aftermarket 3rd gens. Been there done that.

I ran her night before last, hit 60mph in 2nd before I was even close to an 1/8th of a mile down the road. Let out around 75 in 3rd. It was fun.

Started it and let it idle for a few minutes, then gave it a few hard revs to blow any condensation out.

That's not true. I saw the replacement 99 lash adjusters and the hole is much bigger. My mechanic even called me and asked if they were right cus the hole was so much bigger.
