No, Lori. We just don't understand the way of 3SI. They are good people, we just don't know their culture. I'll continue my (somewhat regrettable) respect for the very few that moderate on there. However, with that said, that site is an abomination to the community. Any reason to say, "I'm here because it is where it all started" is total bullshit. I rarely go out in upset rants but that site is a joke and a thorn in this platform's ass. It's ownership isn't far off from the Mubarak and Gadhafi. A total disgrace that I'd be embarrassed to take any part in. It would be as if our government was taken down and put down by a similarity to Soviet Russia and one stood by and said, "but it's the land that made us great". No. It's the people that made us great. Autoforums is nothing short of a naive piggy bank that runs on the intelligence of a 1st grader.

I find it surreal that the seemingly few moderators still hold stake there. Maybe it's for a sense of power, but it certainly isn't for love of the community, or platform. I will fully disclose any reasoning or thoughts gathered behind this if anyone chooses to embark on that endeavor, as obvious as it may seem. The only merit held over there, is the knowledge that caring members have posted, only to find a plethora of incapable staff trashing their community. With that said, I won't wish anything on anybody here. However, I have a strong sense that tells me autoforums and the incompetent owners that run it will find themselves in a state of vacancy in due time.

and 3SI's membership is pointless as hell! I bought one recently to find that the member section had 4 posts and the green room had 1.. defiantly worth the cash..

You should see what they now ask for sponsorship/advertising. The prices are laughable. Yet they continue to subtract not add to what advertising on their site is worth by continuing to show their butt. Continuing to show they DO NOT support the platform/culture AT ALL (all the while stating they do care). It's a buck for them and nothing else. And business is business and I get that. But there is a BIG difference in a business in it for a buck, and one that happens to make a buck but are in it for the passion of what the business is/supporting. I have been there done that, so yes, I know first hand. I have always be in it for the love/passion of it. Making a living off it just comes with it.

When you can't and they won't even make simple threads for NATIONAL once a year gatherings, they have shown their cards. They can dance around the subject and spew whatever reasoning they want you to believe. But at the end of the day we all know the truth.

Now I will probably be banned over there also LOL.

Mine is not currently running. Life has found wonderful ways of preventing me from fixing the electrical issue I have right now with my 96 base 3000.

Most if not all do. They may not have driven them in a while but I believe they all own one.

I have 3 TT's that are running and constantly being worked on. The passion is still there.

Yes I have a 3kgt, remember some of us (if not all of us) were members before becoming moderators. We have a Spyder VR4 and had a 94 VR4 but sold once we got the Spyder. And it RUNS, drove it from TX to TN without a problem. With only 28K miles it doesn't get driven that often though.
