Question. Once a turbo seal starts leaking from bad PCV valve and positive crank pressure, will they ever stop leaking and causing smoke on decel after fitting a new OEM PCV and catch can between rear vc and intake bubble? I was having a smoke on decel issue and have since fitted a new OEM pcv and catch can. I only got to drive it around the block a few times, but I was still getting smoke on decel. Is this something that takes a little time to clear the oil and smoking out, or should it be an immediate fix if it's going to work. Don't wanna pull my turbos and rebuild if I don't have to.

I got a good bit of info on this, some fact and some theory. I don’t have time to post much now so I’ll post later tonight.

It may still smoke a bit since there may be oil still in the intercooler. If after a few hard pulls, it still smokes, you may want to check your turbos .

It may be as simple as a hardened, dried-out oil cap gasket, like mine.

Got a new one, and voila!

thank you all for replays, I think I know what I'm gonna do now. will check the valve and put in catch can. I had oil in rear turbo/pipes. I didn't care much when I had stock turbos, but now I wanna eliminate that.
