    Continental Extreme Contact DWS

I bought these a while back stock size for a base. And might I say, after giving them their element these tires are GREAT. Perfect in the rain. I took turns FAST, and didn't spin in first which is normally what happens. It's been so long since I've really driven this thing (even tonight I wasn't all that frisky). And after taking a detour through about an inch of snow up a steep hill having minuscule problems, a little slipping no "biggie". These tires are quite, well, sub-par (to me) in the dry, the wet is great. More traction in the rain than the dry. Definitely. Well, maybe not that much more.

Why on Earth would the real Gordon Ramsay be on 3sgto?

Aside from that, I wish I could buy these for all of my cars.

Have them on my Maxima and other than absurdly slow response in any conditions they are a nice tire. I do find the slow turn in REALLY REALLY annoying...I almost took them back it is so bad. Recommended tire pressure on my Maxima is 32psi....I run 37psi so the tires respond better to turning inputs.

Interesting Chris, as they are a fairly hard compound tire....

I have found that with these tires my car kinda "floats".... I was thinking REALLY worn 19 yr old struts, but I didn't have that feeling before these tires....

That being said, they've been a great winter tire so far...

I'm running the factory 17" wheels and stock tire size on my Maxima. My car is lowered on Eibachs and has new Tokico Illumina's on it. With the admittedly shitty Kumhos on the car the turn in was razor sharp. Now I turn in and you can actually count a beat before the tires take a set and you really turn. These tires are VERY sloppy and should not be considered a 'high performance' tire IMO.
