but yeah... if my CRT wasn't dying, I'd keep it forever. It's perfect for me.
$20 gigabyte mouse from newegg.com. has variable dpi switch. i would place it head to head with your razer in a heartbeat. unless you're getting sponsored & paid to use the darn thing, a $50+ mouse is a gimmick.

I also didn't pay for the DA, so... I was so unhappy with the Habu, they gave me a DA. I understand what you're saying, trust me. I was happy with the DA's shape, and performance. I don't like wasting money either, I got my $170 headset for nearly free, or I would never have purchased it. A regular set of headphones is nearly as good for positioning versus surround sound. Frankly, most games have terrible audio anyway, lol. If I had my choice, I'd just use my normal headphones, but they don't reach.

I paid 50 because I liked how it felt, and it matched my keyboard, which also felt the best after trying several out. You may not understand why someone spends 50 dollars on a mouse, i may not understand why you spend money on some of the stuff you buy.

you can tell the difference between a $150 monitor and a $300 monitor. there is a reason to upgrade on some stuff. buying an $80 gaming mouse either means that you're being sponsored--or you also buy monster cables. yes, i went there.

You can go there by yourself . To each their own. You spend your money on what you want, and I'll spend mine on what I want

That is an awesome setup Polygon. Props for putting the Jaguar out there with the rest of them
    I have a 2600 (sears telegames and woodgrain 4-switch) if you're interested.

The only console I have hooked up anymore is the N64. My current project is adding RGB inputs to that TV on the right.

    p.s.

wtf would anyone pay for a razer? seriously, i use a $20 laser mouse that's every damn bit as good as a razer. i may be able to tell the difference between displays; but i doubt ANYONE can tell the difference between laser mice unless you're somehow a freak of nature.
I never said I was an ultra 1337 gamer. You're the one claiming to have more FPS games installed on my comp than 99% of the population .

It's called spending a premium for inferior hardware. There was maybe a year of difference, which of course is significant in pc land, but it shouldn't be 2000 dollar significant. Laptop GPUs are just labeled similarly as current generation desktop GPUs. The GPUs in laptops are far inferior.

I would buy a Razer because a 20 dollar mouse doesn't have the programability or versatility of my Razer like on the fly dpi and sensitivity changing for starters. It's useful for those FPS games your so well versed in. On top of that... it looks nice and matches the color scheme of my hardware.

    Not necessarily

The Intel 980X in my Sager IS the desktop CPU. The Clevo d900f platform was designed specifically to allow usage of desktop CPU's in a specially designed laptop case (as are most of Sager's laptops).
