Maybe I missed it but what are the miles like? Even though the 60k was done I would definitely put a new timing belt on atleast. Maybe a tensioner too based on the slack in that belt.

I would personally put on a new tensioner and timing belt just to be safe. That was one I forgot to mention.

Here's one of the best videos I've seen on how to do the timing on our engines. He did a really great job on it.

Other than the issues it looks to be in good condition considering. Good luck with it, I hope everything goes as planned!

yea.. the belt has some wear on it so I will be replacing it.. Doing a compression test on wed to see if theres any issues in there... Then I will be tackling the timing issues... Belt and tensioner will be replaced for sure.. Better safe than sorry right lol!! Parker.. thanks for the vid link.. I have seen it once before and it was very informative.. I hope to have a buddy with me who knows a little more about the timing set up when I do this.

Good stuff man. Have you had a chance to see if there's any surface rust building up on your tensioner and idler pulleys? Sometimes when they sit they'll build up on the top side of the pulley from condensation etc. Usually it'll come off with some steel wool, just another thing to look into.

Yes and yes. SSM has great deals on their fmic's right now. If you want to keep the stock ic's, you can get a DN hard pipe kit as well.
